Storm is a 14hh Dales/Fell mare. She came to us in 2000 with her then unbroken daughter, Star. There is apparently no such thing as the perfect pony, but Storm certainly comes close. She is a keen, willing ride who will turn her hoof to anything. A few years ago I clicker trained her to say "yes" by nodding her head up and down and now she uses it to communicate with me. She doesn't use it to say "yes" now but "please can I?" It usually works too!

Amber is Storm's granddaughter and was the first foal to be born here at Stoneybank. She is a sweet, uncomplicated girl who has been brilliant as a companion/teacher to the weaned foals as she is both sensible but still full of fun. She was lightly backed last year (2007) and we will continue her training this year.
